Civic Engagement & Outreach Committee Presents: Mondays Are For Mahjong! July 6, 2026
Whether you are brand new to Mahjong or already love the game, join us for an evening of fun, friendship, and weekly play beginning Monday, July 6, 2026, and continuing every Monday through August 31, 2026. New players will receive instruction and guidance, while experienced players can enjoy open play with fellow Mahjong enthusiasts. Come connect with friends, meet new people, and enjoy this engaging and timeless game in a welcoming atmosphere.
Weekly Schedule:
5:30 PM – Social Time
6:00 PM – Instruction and Open Play
Bring a dish to share
New players: A $15 one-time charge covers your official Mahjong card.
Experienced players: No purchase is required—just bring your “2026 Mah Jongg Card” and join the fun!
Special Twist!
No need to bring change for winners and losers. Instead, points earned throughout the evening will be tallied, and a Grand Prize will be awarded at the end of the night!

Join us at for the monthly membership evening meeting. This meeting is open to all members and will be similar to the Regular Daytime Meeting. Doors open at 5:45 for networking and the meeting starts at 6:00. The agenda includes planning of community service projects and updates on club activities. We are hoping this gives our working members a better opportunity to participate in club activities. It also allows a chance for members who miss the daytime meeting to attend.
Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP is not required and guests are welcome!

Join us for an evening of good food and casual conversation. All members and guests are welcome, and each is responsible for their own food and beverage orders.
Cummer Art Museum Visit
We will meet at the OPWC clubhouse no later than 9:45 and split up for carpooling to leave at 10am sharp. Contact Lynn Johnson at 904-716-5709 to indicate you wish to participate in this outing. We plan to have lunch at the museum cafe after touring the museum.

Visit to the OP Art Guild Gallery & Museum
The Arts & Culture CSP is inviting members to join us for a visit to the Art Guild’s Gallery & Museum located at 440 McIntosh Ave, OP. The plan is to meet at 440 McIntosh, tour the gallery & museum, then go to lunch at a local resturant. Rummage Sale Volunteer Days
Volunteer for the annual rummage sale.
June 8-12 - Meet at the Green Cove Springs Storage unit (3230 US-17 South) to box up items and bring them to our clubhouse. 9 AM - 12 PM. Please bring boxes, wrapping material, or tape, if you have any.
June 14-18 - Meet at the clubhouse to unbox items and set up for the sale, 9 AM - 2 PM
June 18 - Presale Party, 4-6 PM
June 19-20 - Rummage Sale, 8 AM - 2 PM
June 22-23 - Clean up, 9 AM - 2 PM

Visit Augusta Savage Museum and Mentoring Center in GCS
Join the Arts & Culture CSP to tour the Augusta Savage Museum and Mentoring Center in Green Cove Springs. We will meet at the OPWC clubhouse at 10 AM to carpool. If you wish to drive separately, the museum is located at 1107 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. We will tour the museum at 11 AM and plan to have lunch in GCS following the tour.
