General Meeting
The Health & Wellness Community Service Program Committee will be presenting a program on “Lifestyle Habits to Prevent Memory Loss”. With over 50 million people worldwide who are currently suffering from memory loss, this will be a very timely subject to address. Her tips and information will help us start the New Year with hope for clarity in the future.

Doors open at 9:30 am for coffee and socializing. Lunch is available for $20, and must be ordered in advance. It will be catered by The Club Continental.

Gala Day: Ballroom Decorating & Silent Auction Preparation
We’ve made it to Gala Day! We invite you to join our Gala Committee as we decorate the Ballroom at The Hilltop Restaurant.
Please come dressed in comfortable work clothes and sneakers, as we will be setting up the ballroom décor and organizing the Silent Auction items for display.

Health and Wellness Event: Aging Smart: Preparing With Purpose for Life’s Next Chapters
Join us for a special Health & Wellness CSP community event featuring a panel of experts in elder care planning, Medicaid guidance, wills and trusts, and funeral/cremation preparation. Each panelist will share a brief presentation followed by a group Q&A session.
Attendees will receive practical tools and expert guidance on elder care, financial planning, legal documents, and final arrangements. Informational materials, coffee, and light snacks will be provided.

Arts & Crafts Workshop - Christmas Wreaths
If you would like to make a Christmas wreath, this workshop is for you! Roxie Lewis will provide the guidance, materials, and tools for each person to construct their very own holiday wreath! We request a donation of $20 to the Arts & Culture CSP from each participant in the class.
If you would like to participate in this workshop, please complete the form below, as class size is limited. Your registration is being sent directly to Roxie.
If you have experience making wreaths and want to do something specific (i.e. a theme for your wreath, etc.) feel free to bring your items. If you have questions, please fill out the “Message” box below and Roxie will follow-up with you before the 9th.

Decorate the OP Library Christmas Trees
The Arts & Culture CSP members (& anyone else who wished to help) will be meeting at the Orange Park Library to set up and decorate the OPWC tree in the Library Lobby and the Grove Park Elementary kids tree in the Children’s area. The children’s tree will be decorated with the ornaments made by the Grove Park children.

We are gathering to decorate the Clubhouse for the holiday season, and we would love for you to join us! We will be putting up an outdoor Christmas tree as well as decorating Miss Lucy’s Parlor.
Your help will make the Clubhouse feel festive and welcoming for all our upcoming holiday events.

CHILDREN FROM ELEMENTARY, JR. HIGH,AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WILL HONOR US WITH THEIR ART WORK, PROJECTS, AND SHORT SKITS.
THERE WILL BE STUDENT DANCERS AND SINGERS.
ORANGE PARK WOMANS CLUB WILL HAVE READERS TO READ TO YOUNG CHILDREN.
ARTISTS, CRAFTERS, AND SMALL BUSINESSES WILL BE SET UP INSIDE AND OUTSIDE TO SELL THEIR WARES.
WE WILL HAVE A BAKERY SELLING GOODIES, BOTTLED WATER, AND CANNED SOFT DRINKS
Bring your own items to sell! Crafters and Small Businesses welcome. All booth participants must bring their own table, chair, etc. and be set up by 9:30 am on Saturday, November 15th. Booth sizes are 8x6 inside & 8x10 outside. Bring your own tent for outdoor booths.

Ornament Crafting for the OP Library Tree
Following the OPWC General Meeting on Nov. 6th, the Arts & Culture CSP will be decorating ornaments for the Christmas tree in the OP Library lobby. This is open to anyone who wants to help make ornaments. We will have a variety of materials available and people to help guide anyone who needs assistance.
Stay for the lunch after the general meeting (or bring your own lunch) and then make a couple of tree ornaments and have fun with us!

This meeting is hosted by the Civic Engagement & Outreach Community Service Program. It will include a special presentation from Hope4Veterans, a local organization who helps military women veterans through education, social events, and mentoring to reduce isolation, homeless, and suicide.
Doors open at 9:30 am for coffee and socializing. The meeting will start at 10:00 and end by Noon.
A catered lunch is available at Noon for $20 (catered by La Napolera’s mexican restaurant on Kingsley Ave).
